OBJECTIVES

  • ✓Artifact Forging: Create a tool (Nuxt, SQLite) to inventory and map acquired summoning relics (cards).
  • ✓Calculating the Auguries: Code an algorithm measuring discovery probabilities to optimize the opening of mystery chests (boosters).
  • ✓Book of Revelations: Index the entire codex to reveal the exact drop rate of each relic and where it can be obtained.

My guildmates and I became fiercely dedicated to collecting summoning relics upon the release of Pokemon TCGP. However, faced with a multitude of sealed chests (boosters), each containing exclusive treasures with obscure drop rates, it became difficult to know which pack to pry open to efficiently complete our grimoires.

Thus, I forged a divining artifact to track our acquisitions. This tool precisely calculates the odds of obtaining an unowned relic based on the type of chest, exposing the hidden drop rates for all to see. Built upon the foundations of Nuxt and Drizzle, styled with TailwindCSS, and carved into the stone of a SQLite database, this compendium allowed us to fully optimize our completion quest.
